Yes there have been christian scientists, there’s always an exception in this massively diverse world.

Throughout human history all the people that have been tortured and killed by the religious for simple lack of agreement massively overshadows the contributions religious scientists have made.

Since I was kid I was always taught religion. It was something my mother first raised me in and my father took over when I was nine. As a kid I did follow blindly of my parents religious beliefs, but I was certain about there being a God. I was taught evolution as a child, but it never did make sense to me. This was my logic:

Everything we know has a beginning and an end. In order for everything to have a beginning something must have never had one. There had to be something that had always existed in order for everything else to have it’s start.

Since everything we know as human beings have always had that beginning and end, it’s almost impossible to believe. But if you simply can get to that understanding without over analyzing it and then giving up on the idea of of entity that eternally exists than the idea is more logical than mythical.

There’s a ton of problems here, my favorite being that if everything needs an eternal creator to have a beginning, who made the creator and gave it a beginning? Didn’t think that far? lol, what a sad argument for god.

Did some all-powerful old guy in a robe just pop up out of nowhere and build a massive universe only to put some insignificant little people on a rock in the back corner to make him feel better about himself all day?

Also, nowhere did you talk about evolution, which leads me to believe you haven’t the slightest clue how the universe came to be, or how we came to be. So might I kindly recommend you spend some time on wiki before debunking “evolution.”

Every day this month, I will be going on Reddit’s r/atheism page, finding a discussion topic, and praying for the participants, that God will reveal His truth to them.  If we believe that God works through prayer, we should be willing to spend time in prayer even where it looks useless.  Feel free to join me.

Now this sounds like an excellent use of your time.  I highly encourage it.  Prayer is one of the most highly effective weapons against atheism, after all.

Totally do it! As a matter of fact, I don’t think you guys spend enough time praying, you should put far more time into it because it’s not working well enough yet.

I can feel the prayer turning me back towards christianity, my logic… it’s… disappearing!
